Earlier this week the publisher Gollancz held a competition on twitter.
Funniest anagram of “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” tweeted to #sheepanagram by 5pm 19th Oct gets these books.
with a photo of a selection of classic SF novels.
Now, I’m always up for a bit of a challenge, so I rolled my sleeves up, sharpened up my favourite pencil and set to it. After a while, I decided that technology could help, so I broke it up into sections and threw bits of it at the utterly brilliant internet anagram server to see what came out.
Eventually, I hit on this:
Some decided hero Ford’s a replicant
Now, it’s not exactly the funniest anagram, but by golly it’s certainly appropriate, no?
