I found it quite fascinating to observe the behaviour of my tarantulas during the eclipse. Two disappeared into their burrows, a few others sought cover in their fake plants and still others stopped whatever they were doing and became as still as stone.
I have eleven tarantulas – or ten and a tub of dirt lol (the dwarf almost never appears). Dom is very patient with me and my various hobbies, even when those “hobbies” are alive and take up half the living room 🙂

Hello! The name change has confused a lot of people; it was something I felt needed doing though, after my little trip to hospital in August 😀

oh that’s fascinating! I wonder what it was about the eclipse that made them do that? How many do you have?

Best I managed was a graph of light levels – couldn’t even guess where the sun was though all the cloud in London
